Terms of service to bike hire agreement

(Trouble and failure) 

  1. The hirer must return the bike by yourself in case of the trouble and failure during use. Roujiya won’t pay you back for a repair charge, if the hirer has the bike repaired at another shop. 
  1. Roujiya accepts no responsibility for any damage due to the trouble and failure of bike. 
  1. Roujiya will be under no obligation to pay any costs incurred by the hirer caused by the hirer’s acts or omissions. 

（Loss） 

If the bike gets stolen, the hirer must immediately notify Roujiya. The hirer must pay for the replacement cost as follows. 

   Standard type 20,000 yen   Sports type 40,000 yen   Electric type 100,000 yen　MTB150,000 yen 

(Loss and damage of the key and other parts) 

  1. If the bike requires a minor mechanical repair or lost key during the hire period , the hirer must pay for the replacement cost. 
  1. If the bike suffers a puncture, the hirer will at their cost have the tire repaired at any repair shop but will provide Roujiya the details of any such repair. 

(Tow - away) 

The hirer is liable to pay for parking fines and a charge of 4,000 yen occurred during the period of hire to Roujiya who has to pick the bike in their stead. 

(Period of hire) 

If you are unable to return the bike by 9 o’clock in the evening, the hirer must pay the full charge applicable for the duration of the hire.

(Accidents) 

If the hirer has an accident the hirer must immediately notify Roujiya. Roujiya will be under no obligation to pay any costs incurred by the hirer caused by their acts or omissions.

In the event of an accident if anyone is hurt; if an injury has occurred, the hirer must report the accident to the Police as soon as possible.

(Prohibited matter) 

The hirer will not: 

  1. Ride the bike willful and recklessly including under the influence of alcohol or drugs or in an unlawful manner;  
  1. Ride the bike off of roads or on roads which are not public or legal roads; 
  1. Park the bike in a restricted area; 
  1. Keep riding the bike when the hirer notice’s trouble including a flat tire; 
  1. Permit any other person to ride the bike.
